Birthday Wishes with Cricut Explore

Hi everyone,

AUGUST promotions end today at midnight!!

Be sure to get your August Stamp of the Month and the free products available in our "Get Organized" campaign.

Be sure to get yours here!

Now to my card.  I love browsing Pinterest and trying to create cards from all the great work other crafters have shared.  Most of the cards I really like are usually created using punches or just simple cut outs.

This card was from one of those inspirations.  I liked it so much I made a feminine and masculine version.

This particular card opens at the top cut it could also open from the side.  The candles were cut from an image available in Design space.    The candles were cut from white yardstick and stamped with CTMH Slate ink using CTMH Stamp Sets #D1540 In the Background and Washi Wonders (Hostess set-retired).

A simple banner, scalloped rectangle and a little welding and you have a card that can be put together in minutes.  The birthday sentiment was created with Art Philosophy Font, but any font would do.  Just isolate your letters and weld them together,   so it cuts in one piece.  You could even use a font with a shadow, I might try that next.   Very simple and easy to make, once you create the word.

You can recreate any card you see in Pinterest, with a little imagination and a Cricut Explore.  It won't be exact, but it will be yours, and that truly makes it one of a kind.

Be sure to shop with me, and get perfect coordinating paper and embellishments.

Until next time

Happy Craftin!
