Cat Lovers Card with Cricut Explore

Hi everyone,

Are you a cat lover, or know someone who is?  Well I found an adorable card on the internet that decided I would try to recreate using my Cricut.  The images available on the cartridges weren't what I was looking for, so I made my own.

If you thought adding a sentiment to the front of your card is too difficult, well you need a Cricut Explore.   I wrote the sentiment with my Ranger "Perfect Medium" pen and then dusted it with Perfect Pearls in silver.

All the images and fonts are available in Design Space, with the exception of the cats.  Most of the images are included in the subscription, some are purchased.  The fence is a welded image made to fit across my card.  I used the slice feature to create my moon.  Here is what my file looks like.

The two cats were created in Inkscape and saved as an SVG.  I am happily sharing this file, but please understand it is only the two cats.  The bows and embellishments are from Design Space.

The SVG file is on my Google drive, just click on the file link "Cats in Love" under my Menu options "SVG files by MCR".

Until next week

Happy Craftin!

  1. I am blessed. I live in a minor town included by inclines, and my cats can safely travel all over anyway they see fit. Clearly this infers I get the occasional "gift" of whatever they insightfully drag into my home, in any case it in like manner suggests that they tend to get their climbing and scratching out of their structures and treat my furniture basically an indistinct course from I - to sit on and think about.
