Adding color to Embossed Images

Sometimes plain embossing doesn't seem to be enough, you look at what you have a feel like something is missing.  Adding a little color to an embossed image can take plain to fabulous.

Here are two very simple cards showing this technique.  There are several ways to add color to embossing, this is one of many.  If you search the internet you can open a whole new dimension to your cards.

Using your favorite embossing folder, emboss your design on your card stock.  Once thats done,   lightly rub your ink pad over the raised area.  As you can see you can even do several colors.  I find using those small ink pads gives you a little more control over where the ink is applied.

Add a few embellishments and take the simple to elegant.

Till next time

Happy Craftin!
